It is amazing how you still gain wisdom even after your departing. It seems the things we used to argue about were not that important, and I now understand that at times we all feel overwhelmed by life in general.
Today is flag day, I I deeply wish to express gratitude to you and all those go have paid the price to keep us free, and even this Blog is a example of this freedom rhat have been provided to us those whom have served.
It seem such a short time since we last had the opportunity to talk face to face,Im glad to have had this time to learn from you.
There are things that seem strange, like when death is unavoidable, I was still hearing, He cant have that its not good for him. I cant believe that you wanted a stupid chili dog, and could get it because it might not be good for, even though you were not going to have many more chances to enjoy anything. Let alone a chili dog. A that point in time anything you want is or should be fine.
You gave your whole life for your country and family, and I for one your youngest (at least as far as we know) appreciate it. But I do feel some regret that you didnt have more time for you, and that you gave up every dream you had taking care of others. I am not even sure if anyone else has figured out that you had very little in your life for you.
Remebeering back I wish I had more to remember. I cherish the days when we worked side by side unload hand stacked beef at Vienna Sausage, or riding in the Kw900 going to load avicados or oranges. I am glad to be one of the last truckdrivers to have been taught by there fathers, not a non-caring school.
Anyhow thats it for now, I’ll be sending you more ideas in the future.
